The Brief
Sympathetic restoration of a period building in poor condition. Create classical, beautiful space and the perfect backdrop for artists to exhibit.
The Solution
This started with the floor. To create the combination of a period feel and modernity, I opted, throughout the building for individually laid, hand dyed parquet tiles. This ‘path’ having been chosen, the rest of the design project, based around the use of ebony, flowed very naturally. The project took eight months.
